First Flight... Newcastle to Heraklion

Well today I had my first passenger flight. I flew with a Training Captain from Newcastle down to Heraklion on the Greek island of Crete. I was Pilot Flying for the return journey making a solid landing back into Newcastle in dark and wet conditions. Unfortunately I was working too hard to manage to take any photos. Hopefully I'll have a chance in the future. A safety First Officer sat on the jumpseat so it was quite a tight fit on the flight deck, but it added to the people who could grill me with questions, as my training schedule demands!

Start of new job with MyTravel

Well I managed to get through my type rating course and base training and now start line training with MyTravel based out of Newcastle Airport for the summer. On this blog, I will track my progress over the summer. Mainly this will probably just consist of boring pictures taken from 35,000ft up of island and mountains - however, I hope I can make it slightly more insteresting than that!
